![]() Registration is possible online or in person. ![]() TEEN TERRITORY is also offering a number of programs throughout the coming months for teens to take part in. Always feel free to check out a book from any of the displays. There are often free giveaways such as pencils and bookmarks. There are three areas within, or near, the TEEN TERRITORY section that display new fiction and new non-fiction as well as special displays. Also in the college corner are review books for 7th and 8th grade Math and ELA, as well as AP guides in World History, Art History, Chemistry, Calculus, Biology, French Language and Culture, Environmental Science, Computer Science, and English Language Composition. The college corner contains PSAT, SAT, and ACT study guides, as well as regents review books. Our room includes multiple genres including fiction, non-fiction, classics, Spanish language books, biographies, manga, graphic novels, reference, and a college corner. This area serves all ages but is geared for 7th-12th graders. Teens Make Your Mark, Embark on Learning TEEN TERRITORY is the new name for the Young Adult library section of Roosevelt Public Library.This area provides review books for tests such as the ASVB, TASC (The Test for Adult Secondary Completion), TABE, TEAS, NCLEX-PN, and RN. The newest addition to the Adult Zone is the Job and Business Information Center. ![]() The Spanish language non-fiction collection contains books in a wide range of subjects, from cooking to self-help titles, as well as biographies. There are many novels by Hispanic writers, both from Latin America and Spain, as well as popular novels translated into Spanish. The Adult Zone also hosts a growing Spanish language collection. Both fiction and non-fiction books can be found in regular and large-type print. The collection is primarily made up of books by popular authors with a separate section for ‘popular romance’. ![]() The Adult Zone offers fiction books in many genres. These services can include reading materials, a computer lab, private study rooms, online databases, a magazine and newspaper lounge, and a Job and Business Information Center, as well as a whole host of educational and fun programs. Patrons from ages 18 years old to seniors can enjoy free services at the library.
